Memorial Day weekend is just a few weeks away! If you’ll be in town for this summer-kick-off holiday, we’ve compiled a list of all the best local events taking place around Atlanta.
Stone Mountain Park’s Memorial Day Weekend will feature a special salute to the troops, an extended fireworks finale with the new Music Across America Light Show! May 26 – 29.
The City of Alpharetta and the Rotary Club of Alpharetta will host a Memorial Day Tribute at Alpharetta City Hall with a performance of the national anthem, a keynote speaker and more. May 290th 9:00 am
Norcross will pay tribute to the troops and their families with a Memorial Day Remembrance at Thrasher Park on May 29th from 11:30 am – 1 pm.
Atlanta Braves: The Braves will be hosting the Phillies May 25th – 28th. The Friday game will feature fireworks and there is a beach towel give-away on Sunday.
Alpharetta Arts Streetfest
Browse art and other hand-crafted products from regional and national artisans. May 27th – 28th at the Grove at Wills Park
Atlanta Jazz Festival
The 45th celebration of music, culture, and the art of jazz. May 27th – 29th at Piedmont Park
Georgia Renaissance Festival
Watch knights joust while enjoying delicious food, drinks, and entertainment! May 27th – 28th in Fairburn
