Once again I have compiled a lucky number of 7 family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day events taking place across Metro Atlanta this year. From parades and races to live music and dance, there are plenty of ways for your family to join in on the St. Paddy’s Day fun.
Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Saturday, March 11th at noon. The Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade is celebrating its 139th running since 1858, making it Atlanta’s longest-running event.
St. Patrick’s Parade 5K: Saturday, March 11th (9:45 am start time). Prior to the parade, the St. Patrick’s Parade 5K runners will fill the streets of Atlanta. The race is open to all ages and online registration is open until Thursday, March 9th.
Luck of The Forum: Thursday, March 16th (6 pm – 8 pm). Are you feeling lucky? Enjoy a purely golden St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Luck of The Forum, featuring music, dancing and Irish flair.
Luck of Avalon: Friday, March 17th (5 pm – 9 pm). Live music and Irish flair will be featured at Alpharetta’s Avalon shopping pavilion.

Sips Under the Sea: Friday, March 17th (7 pm – 10 pm). Get ready to shamrock & roll at Georgia Aquarium’s Sips Under the Sea: St. Patrick’s Day. Exclusively for 21+ guests. Wear your favorite green attire as you stroll through our galleries, grab a drink, and dance.
Children’s Museum of Atlanta: Thursday, March 17th (event times vary). Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Children’s Museum! Learn the Irish jig and enjoy an interactive storytime about Irish folklore and culture. It’s your lucky day!

Shake Your Shamrock: Saturday, March 18th ( 5 pm – 8 pm). Enjoy live music, Irish Dancers from Carpenters Academy of Irish Dance, Face Painting, Giant Bubbles and more at Mall of Georgia’s Annual Shake Your Shamrock.
