St. Patrick’s Parade 5K: Saturday, March 12th (9:45 am start time). Prior to the parade, the St. Patrick’s Parade 5K runners will fill the streets of Atlanta. The race is open to all ages and online registration is open until Thursday, March 10th.
Atlanta Professional Fire Fighters St. Patrick’s Day Picnic: Saturday, March 12th (1 pm – 5 pm). Following the parade, the Atlanta Professional Fire Fighters (APFF) will host their seventh annual St. Paddy’s Day picnic fundraiser.

Cookie Decorating at Scotsdale Farms: March 15th and 16th (10 am – 10:30 am) and March 17th (10:30 am – 11:30 am). On the 15th and 16th, little ones will decorate shamrock cookies, complete with unlimited sprinkles, and then the group will finish with a St. Patrick’s Day story. The 17th is an adult class where students will learn from a local pro to create beautiful and delicious St. Patrick’s Day themed cookies.
Shamrock the Station: Thursday, March 17th (12 pm – 8pm). Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with family-friendly entertainment including DJ Chika Takai, Irish dancers, balloon artists, airbrush tattoos, a live band, a bagpiper, giveaways and more throughout the day!
Children’s Museum of Atlanta: Thursday, March 17th (event times vary). Learn to dance the Irish jig, create Celtic knot art, explore the science of the rainbow, design your own tool to mine leprechaun gold, and enjoy an Irish folk tale at storytime. It’s your lucky day!
