Atlanta’s Best Summer Camps 2022


Spring isn’t even here yet, but summer camp registrations have already begun! If your active kids are looking for a fun camp option this summer, I have included descriptions of a few of the best camps taking place in Atlanta.

A5 Volleyball: A5 is a premier junior club volleyball organization that offers an array of volleyball camps for both girls and boys of all ages and skill levels.

Atlanta Swim Academy: Described as a summer-long pool party, ASA summer camp is available for children ages 5 – 9 with nine full weeks to choose from.

Atlanta United Soccer Camp: Atlanta United holds a variety of soccer camps in multiple locations across Atlanta. Open to ages 5 – 14, professionally-trained coaches adapt each camp to players of all skills and ability levels.

Camp All American: This camp is held at Perimeter Church in Johns Creek and will run for 10 weeks, beginning May 31st – August 5th. Campers range between the age of 5 and 11th grade, and you are able to register for each session week-by-week.

Club SciKidz: Club SciKidz believes that every child is a scientist! View a list of their hands-on science camp themes here as well as a list of their Georgia locations on their main website.

Dunwoody Nature Camp: By combining play and learning through different weekly themes, campers are able to connect with nature and friends in this beautiful Dunwoody park.

Elite Hoops Basketball: EHB has once again partnered with US Sports Camps and Nike Sports Camps to provide the best in summer basketball camps. There are camps throughout the Metro Atlanta area throughout the summer, all of which are designed to immerse the camper in the sport, giving them the kind of focused training that is essential to improvement.

Golf Camps: Junior golf camps will be available through PGA Junior and Nike this summer. Georgia golf club locations as well as ages and skill levels can be found on their camp information pages.

Marcus JCC Atlanta: MJCCA summer camps are offered for kids in preschool through 9th grade. Their long list of sports to choose from can be found here, and descriptions of other camp categories (arts, crafts, etc..) can be found here.  

Marist School Summer Camps: Like the MJCCA, Marist offers numerous sports camp options in addition to art camps like ceramics and writing.

Peach Pit Gymnastics: The Prado and Collier Road Peach Pit locations will have both half day and full day camps available this summer. For boys and girls, ages 4 – 16, this camp will rotate gymnastics or cheerleading intervals with dance, crafts, yoga, games, and special events.

YMCA: Don’t forget to check your local YMCA for camp schedules and descriptions. Camps are available up to age 18 in a wide variety of sports and fitness categories.

Zoo Camp: Each week campers embark on a different Zoo expedition, exploring wildlife and wild places. Half day and full day camps are available for kids ages 5 – 14.
