Father’s Day– June 21, 2020

Father’s Day is coming up on June 21st. While many of you plan to spend the day celebrating your own Dad, celebrating your children’s Dad….or both (!)….this year is bound to be a little different. While attending sporting eventing and watching  sporting events won’t be on the agenda, there are still many fun things to do and give to celebrate your special Dad. Here are a few ideas we have come up with.

Tubing: Looking for an adventure? Head up to North Georgia for some tubing. This is a great way to relax and spend time with family while still being socially distanced!

Zoo Atlanta: The zoo is open again! Go check out the animals. While a lot of the attractions and inside exhibits are not open yet, you can still buy tickets online and go see the animals. It’s great to support our local zoo right now. The animals must be getting lonely!

Sweetwater Brewing: The taproom offers 20+ brews on tap plus a full menu from the brewery kitchen. Swing through, grab a bite and a beer, and stay awhile. No tour ticket required, but if you’re booking online the same day deadline is 4 PM weekdays, 12 PM weekends. Tickets are always available for purchase at the brewery. Check out the website before you stop by to confirm hours.

Hiking in North Georgia: If you decide to go tubing, why not check out some hikes along the way. There are some great hikes including falls and other great views in North Georgia. Here’s a great site to check out to pick the right stop.

Play Golf: Most Dads love to play golf, even if it’s just once or twice a year. This is a great way to spend time together, or just let Dad go have some fun before a family dinner. Here is a list of some of the top public courses in Atlanta.

No matter what you decide to do, just make sure you enjoy your time together and make the fathers in your life feel special and loved!
